Our Foundation is in Need of Emergency Repair

It can be easily argued that the most important component of any structure is the foundation. Every other component of the structure can only be as good as the underlying foundation. Therefore, the foundation must be level, square, and enduring, yet flexible enough to resist cracking and absorb subtle movements caused by changing conditions. Even the most well-engineered structure built on a poorly designed foundation will break down over time and eventually fail completely. On the other hand, a properly designed and built foundation will ensure that the structure built upon it will, given proper maintenance, remain functional indefinitely. So the first step in building a lasting structure is the establishment of a sound foundation, and the first step in establishing a sound foundation is a blueprint that clearly illustrates the design features and building specifications of that foundation.

Upon emerging from the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787 Benjamin Franklin was asked "Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” to which Franklin responded "A republic, if you can keep it." Franklin understood very well that this government “of the people, by the people, and for the people” would require engaged and involved citizens that understand how the system is intended to function. The people are the building material for the foundation of the republic and the blueprint for that foundation is the Constitution of The United States. As long as sufficient building material, in the form of engaged people, is met and the foundation is constructed in accordance with the design blueprint, the republic built upon it will endure.

Once a structure (or a republic) is established, maintenance becomes essential if the structure is to last. That is why sufficient drainage must be provided for a physical structure and that is why the founding fathers built in a means of modifying or amending the constitution, following established protocols, when necessary. The structure and especially the foundation must also be protected from damage by outside forces. If you knock a hole through the wall of your physical foundation, the structural integrity of the building will be compromised. Likewise, if you violate or disregard the foundational document of the republic, you compromise the integrity of the republic. The point is that whether you are talking about a physical structure or a constitutional republic, the foundation MUST be maintained and protected if they are to last.

The purpose of the government is nothing more and nothing less than to protect every citizen’s rights and liberties in accordance with the constitution. The purpose of the Constitution is to clearly enumerate the powers of government and define a compartmentalized structure where none of the three branches of government can make unilateral and unchecked decisions. If you have been paying any attention at all for the last few years, you already realize we have a huge problem in America today. The constitutional foundation of our republic has been severely compromised. The erosion of the foundation is like a cancer that threatens the continued existence of our once great republic.

One of the biggest threats of continued erosion is the so called Security and Prosperity Partnership or SPP. This plan also referred to as the North American Union or NAU is already well underway and involves the elimination of current American borders in exchange for a merger of Canada, Mexico, and the United States into a single entity much like the European Union, including the establishment of a common currency. These regional unions are merely stepping stones on the road towards world government or as George H.W. Bush once put it “A New World Order.” The goal of the New World Order is a global system that encapsulates economic, political, military, and corporate systems into one centrally controlled global tyrannical conglomerate.

Globalism threatens the very existence of sovereign, independent nations; in fact the two concepts are mutually exclusive. That is why we see US military oversees violating or threatening to violate the sovereign rights of foreign countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran, while our own borders remain unsecured with all manner of criminal elements literally pouring into the country. The U.S. government is threatening the existence of other sovereign nations, while at the same time facilitating the destruction of our own. If the “war on terror” was real, don’t you think U.S. troops would be better utilized securing our own borders?

The fact is, today we no longer have the representative government that our constitution describes and our country has been hijacked by a cartel of globalist criminals who do not believe in or abide by our foundational document. When he entered office, GW Bush took the presidential oath of office (twice), which reads as follows:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

In a 2005 Oval office discussion, after being informed that some provisions of the so-called Patriot Act undermined the constitution, G.W. Bush replied “Stop throwing the Constitution in my face, It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"

This statement, more than any other I think, demonstrates the extent to which our foundation has eroded. When the president can make a statement like that and remain in office, something is very wrong. The republic of America is crumbling badly, almost ready to topple over and the American people hardly seem to notice. They are too busy with their own selfish and indulgent pursuits and don’t even realize that, just as Benjamin Franklin warned over 200 years ago, we have failed to keep our republic. The last few remaining remnants are being destroyed before our very eyes. Our middle class is being eliminated and America is being transformed into a third world country, complete with prison camps.

That is not to say we should surrender without a fight however. We must return to our constitutional foundation and be willing to, as they say in New Hampshire, “Live Free or Die.” It's now or never folks, there isn't much time left. Pray for America and support Ron Paul for president in 2008!

Blackwater: Hired Guns, Above the Law

I remember warning friends that the Blackwater operations in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, which included door to door weapons confiscation, was an exercise for future operations on American soil. Most of them thought I was exaggerating the situation and that Blackwater was simply upholding the law and keeping order. Now we have Blackwater "training" in Iraq, while at the same time establishing a larger presence here in the United States. If this doesn't raise a red flag in your mind, you could very well be brain dead! - Le Patriote

Blackwater USA. It's employees "in the field" are referred to as "guards" not "soldiers" or "troops." Do we have to support them, too? They are making a lot more money than regular troops, but their job is to protect the vital interests of The United States—including high-ranking personnel. Logic would command that we support "our" Blackwater guards as we would support our regular troops. But can we support Blackwater? More importantly, does it matter what we think?

Blackwater has, to present, been above the law in Iraq. It's guards have no restrictions on their actions and have been so openly and unaccountably murderous that it's as if their mission is to make as many people as possible hate the U.S. and Americans for enabling Blackwater. If that is the case, there are two possible reasons why the Bush administration would pay $hundreds of millions to a company providing the service of providing the world with just cause to hate us. One is show the world that it should quake in its boots because God gave the U.S. authority to wontonly murder innocents for America. The second is to anger the world into attacking America. In light of U.S. immigration policy, economic policy and public health policy, the second possibility is more likely. Another thing to consider is the contracts Blackwater has here at home and the fact that it is establishing private military bases on American soil (The IO, Sept., 2007 and page 12).

So, should we be supporting "our" Blackwater "troops" now hoping they will be nicer to us than they are to Iraqis?

Should Anyone Join the Military?

I have maintained in a number of articles over the past several years that no Christian – whether he terms himself a conservative, an evangelical, a fundamentalist, or a Bible-believer – has any business in the U.S. military, including the National Guard and the chaplaincy.

Although the same goes for anyone else who names the name of Christ, I have always emphasized these particular Christian groups because of the unholy relationship that exists between them and the military.

But what about American Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus? Would it be okay if they joined the military? And what about the members of the various cults and sects that abound in the United States? Is the military a good place for them? And let’s not forget about atheists, agnostics, infidels, witches, Satanists, and the irreligious. Should they be discouraged from joining the military as well?

A Veteran from Reno, Nev. has hit headlines after he took matters into his own hands yesterday and tore down a Mexican flag that was being illegally flown above a U.S. flag at a local business.

Local news station krnv News 4 had received calls yesterday afternoon from angry residents complaining about the Mexican flag. When the station sent a reporter to investigate the Veteran took the opportunity to make a statement in front of the cameras.

The poet Robert Burns, watching a louse crawl around a rich woman's head, was inspired to write a poem that contains a line to the effect that we need to see ourselves as others see us.

I just read a blog by an Arab woman, obviously educated, that is livid with hatred for us for the destruction of Iraq. She dismisses the excuse of those who say they didn't vote for the present administration.

What follows is a summary. She says: "My problem is you. Your character, your behavior, your haughtiness, arrogance, false pride, denial, collective stupidity and ignorance, your way of life, which I find boring, distasteful and empty. You are ogres of consumerism, greedy, covetous, gluttonous, voracious, jealous, envious. You are nothing, and your nihilism contaminates everything else. You destroy and self-destruct."

She closes by saying: "Iraq is going down with its past and its future. I can only promise you one thing. However long it may take, we are going to take you down with us."

We Americans are very good at dismissing critics and criticism. We have such a high opinion of ourselves, we simply can't believe that normal people can dislike us, much less hate us. We can destroy whole countries, kill millions of people and then naïvely expect that the survivors will welcome us as friends.

The old saying that one reaps what one sows is just an accurate observation of the way human history plays out. We have sown and we are continuing to sow a lot of hatred for ourselves.

War is the most horrible thing one group of people can inflict on another. War destroys lives, homes, families, economies, cultures and the future. It kills and maims and impoverishes. The fallout from war is hatred, and like radioactivity its poison can linger for generations.

The victorious always think their victory will last forever, but the truth is that all victories are temporary. I would not take the lady's vow of vengeance lightly. She has an ally in that very collective stupidity and ignorance she criticizes.

Anyone who looks at the present leadership, both those in office and those aspiring to office, and feels good about the future is a heck of a lot more optimistic than I am. Corruption, both monetary and intellectual, is so deep and entrenched in our society that it will take a miracle for us to survive it.

Surveying the world, I see very few countries where the people have any reason whatsoever for liking us. They may be powerless at the moment to express their hatred, but power, like victory, is also ephemeral.

"Be careful who you step on, on the way up, because you're going to meet the same people on the way down." A character actor and semigangster said that in the 1930s.

One of our faults is that we have been conditioned by television and short political cycles to think in the short term. The truth is we have been players on the stage of history only for an instant. We have won the sprint, but the story of mankind is a marathon.

Should you ever visit Palestine, some Palestinian will almost surely point to the ruins left by the Romans and the Crusaders and say: "Where are they now? It took 200 years to get rid of the Crusaders, but they are gone and we are still here."

Ask yourself if you would fly to Iraq and, unarmed and unescorted, take a walk through Baghdad proudly displaying an American flag on your lapel. Hatred has a twin brother, and it's fear. We should stop harming other people so we can live without hatred or fear.

Hypocrisy Rules the West

The Bush regime knows that if people will believe its 9/11 story, they will believe anything. Propaganda silences facts, and Americans fall for one set of falsehoods after another. The alleged 9/11 hijackers all came from countries allied with the US, principally Saudi Arabia, but Americans believe the government’s lies that Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and Syria are responsible. Americans have been convinced that without "regime change" in these countries, the American superpower will remain helpless in face of stateless Muslims armed with box cutters.

Americans have been brainwashed to believe that Muslims hate us for our "freedom and democracy," whereas in fact the problem is the US government’s immoral foreign policy and interference in the internal affairs of Muslim countries. Bush’s message to the Middle East is clear: Be a puppet state or be destroyed.
